Why has getting shot behind walls and corners gotten so much worse since the last patch?

Before the last patch I thought things had really turned a corner. I wasn't getting shot behind corners constantly. But the last patch seems to have broken something. Ever since stuff like this is a ton more common. And yes I was playing in region near me last night when this occurred. I could post dozens of examples but this one is so silly, its like the battlefield friends episode.
