"I am the SGI" vs "I am a Buddha!" Which motto is faithful to Buddhism?

"I am the SGI!"

This is the cult-speak motto members are encouraged to embrace. But after 55 years of domination, the sokagakkai IS Ikeda.

The Sokagakkai embodies Ikeda. Therefore, what this motto really signifies is, I embrace Ikeda.

"I am a Buddha!"

I prefer this as a motto that is true to the spirit of Buddhism.

Buddha embodies enlightenment. Therefore, what this motto signifies is, I embrace enlightenment.

What is the object of Buddhist practice - to embrace/be Ikeda, or to embrace/be enlightened?

The answer is clear to me.

(Anyone that chooses Ikeda over enlightenment needs to stop drinking the cult kool-aid and re-check their priorities as a Buddhist.)
