I was listening live on the app and when they dropped it I went back to hear it and it was deleted from the live stream even.

I just assumed the app fucked up as usual.
I did as well until i listened to the interview again.

I heard it live so unless anyone still records live I doubt it. I imagine the copies that end up on youtube and the likes are rips from the OnDemand episode, but I could be wrong.
Why would they cut it?
Im not sure but its a pretty controversial film especially considering the recent outcry against cop brutality.
They were discussing their documentary comparing it to The Thin Blue Line. Then they just completely removed the discussion and you can hear the gap in the interview, its awfuly edited.
That's really strange. Perhaps u/tido14 can call and ask?
Ive never noticed anything being edited other than for personal info, legal ramifications, or past content for being too politically incorrect.
With that being said Id love to hear the reasoning.
