Where is the link to the Mycelium beta?
you have to follow the instructions on https://github.com/mycelium-com/wallet (register on their Google+ page, click the link from the same account, then you'll get it from the Play Store)
Does this work with a BIP 44 HD key structure? OR just single keys at a time. Are there API/Documentation available for developers to integrate with other wallets?
Yes, it's BIP 44. You can refer to Mycelium integration, GreenBits integration and our generic specification. We'll also publish a simple SDK (mostly code samples using the above) in the coming weeks.
I heard that a Dogecoin implementation for Ledger was in the works. Am I right that this new product is Bitcoin only, for now at least?
No, it supports exactly the same functionalities as the standard one (plus the Trusted UI for validation) - if you're interested in porting a mobile Dogecoin wallet, you can give it a try.
I don't seem to find option to add Ledger account under advanced. What I have only scan, import from clipboard, trezor and random key.
EDIT: oh ok found it, need to install mycelium beta 2.5 instead. but i don't have access to beta..
EDIT 2: I'm stupid again. Now found how to be in beta. But then, the information is all around like a puzzle.
EDIT 3: When I click to add Ledger wallet, it doesn't detect any device. How do I get it to trigger Ledger trustlet?
If you have the Mycelium beta version, you should be able to add it using Add -> Advanced -> Import a Ledger HD-Account. If you want to use something else than the TEE, you can uncheck TEE support under the app settings.
Make sure that you have downloaded, installed and gotten verified in the ledger wallet service beta as well. Status should be "Ledger Wallet provisioned successfully".
Yes, I have the option to Import a Ledger HD-Account. But when I select that, the screen just waiting for me to connect a device. The TEE environment is not triggered.
I checked in the setting, the Disable TEE support is not tick.
How about the second part of my comment, what is the status in the wallet service beta app you downloaded from ledger?
Sorry, where can I find the status in the wallet service beta app? Is it separate app?
EDIT 1: Ok, the Trustlet app ask to check security policy. Now I'm not sure what goes wrong with my security policy.
Do I have to be rooted?
no, it should work better when not rooted in fact :)
Any particular reason non-rooted should work better?
depends of the rooting method, if it was done through Odin I believe the Secure Boot process might be flagging that. Waiting for people to test it and confirm though.

(This public beta let you test this solution on Galaxy S6/S6 Edge/S6 Edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910C and SM-N910H models only), with GreenBits and Mycelium.) - Tried it on my one plus one only to realize this. Whoops
yep sorry - hopefully more models will be supported soon though
Just wanted to provide an update here: I got the new S6 firmware update (5.1.1, Build LMY47X.G920TUVU2DOH6) from T-Mobile yesterday and the TEE/Mycelium beta works great! Touch screen is still a little 'off' (seems less sensitive in a way), but I was able to get everything configured without issue.
great news. About the Touch screen, did you also notice that the user pattern takes some time to be displayed, or is it not noticeable ?
The pattern draws kinda slowly, probably about the same speed or a bit faster as how I entered the pattern when I created it.
ok, so it's still the same weird bug I'm aware of. I'm starting to believe that a lot of the US S6 are affected for some reason. What's your phone model ?
SM-G920T (Galaxy S6 32gb version on T-Mobile, more specifically)
Finally, after a month an update to my OS comes and I can use the app.
Few comments as below.
great
1/ so far the only way is to delete the wallet (Mycelium / GreenBits) internal data.
2/ Let me know if you can make a list of those errors
3/ It shouldn't, I'll retest.
4/ Yes, other people reported this, I should look into it.
Downloaded and tested on my Galaxy S6 (920F running 5.0.2, rooted with knox switch still intact).
I had previously disabled automatic updates of the security policy on the phone and had to update it before the ledger app would manage to connect to the TEE. After that everything went smoothly.
Tested with the latest beta of Mycelium and it was a breeze creating a new Ledger HD-Account. The touchscreen however seems a bit less responsive while in TEE than normally for some reason. Struggled with getting the security picture to come out as I wanted as a result and also it would not take my input at all for verifying my pin (worked when I re-imported the already created HD-wallet though).
Sent a small test sum without issues as well. So far so good in other words!
Would be very interesting to see if this works with custom ROM's and kernels as well. If anyone is running for example XtreStoLite and UniBase/UniKernel give it a try and let me know!
I've seen this issue on some S6 models - it'd be nice to check if a firmware update solves it.
