I had recorded the Pats/Panthers game, first time it was shown on the network. 5 minutes in they cut to the games hightlights! I was able to quickly avert my eyes. Not even 10 minutes later and the score is on the news ticker at the bottom.

"Hey Abed, real stories— they don't have spoilers. You understand that TV and life are different?"
How about avoid, NFL network, ESPN and any news network until you watch the game? Some of us dont record games and flip on the tv after work to just watch high lights and move on with our lives.
How about reading comprehension
I zoom the picture in a bit and makes the bottom score bar disappear
What's the alternative?
I would say just don't post that Gabe's scores and highlights while It's playing. Fair game any other time IMO
Well if the world doesn't spin around you, I'd be stunned. Maybe some people just want to turn on a sports score channel and see sports scores?

I wish people would just accept the fact that if you miss the game you miss the game. We even have people saying don't post scores on r/NFL because of spoilers! Like you're going to miss the game, go on r/NFL, and then say the fact that you saw the score is our fault for trying to make the subreddit fun.
Coming here to complain about spoilers in post game threads is one thing, expecting a network showing you a game to not ruin the result of that game is another.
I've lived in a few countries and this is the only one that accepts scrolling tickers giving away scores as the norm. To me it'll always be bizarre.
Actually it's the only country I've lived in that accepted the screen being covered in ads and news during a game, but I digress.
