Prog Album of the Week - Week 95 (08/27/2015): Seven Impale - City of the Sun

As always, we encourage participation from everyone - if you've never heard the album, there's a YouTube link provided! Go check it out and report back!

Welcome to the ninety-fifth week of r/progrockmusic's Album of the Week! Last week we discussed Peter Gabriel's Passion and that was lovely.

If you'd like to peruse previous weeks' discussions, please visit the archive.

Some more new prog. This is from the fledgling Norwegian band Seven Impale.

####Potential Discussion Questions:

• Lots of genres being employed here - most notably jazz and fusion elements - but there seems to be no end to the experimentation on this one. Certainly a diverse listen, what influences from non-prog genres can you hear?

• How would you personally rate the album?

• Are there any moments on the album you consider particularly strong or particularly weak (i.e., favourite/least favourite moments)?
