New to Baking, what flour should I use?

Hello reddit!

My husband's birthday is coming up and I would like to make him homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Every recipe I see calls for All Purpose flour. I recently moved to Toronto and haven't been able to spot any AP flour. On hand I have Blending, Cake, and Bread flour. I'm guessing bread flour would be alright, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Bread flour will be fine. You may need to add more liquid if it feels to dry, but that's true for any flour.

Apf is like a medium flour, sandwiched in between cake, and bread flour. A 50/50 mix of bread, and cake flour will make the apf you need. Some countries do not have apf, so this is quite common to do. I love cinnamon rolls! Happy Baking!

Generally you can mix flours. Wholemeal, cake, bread and self-raising flours can all be mixed in most recipes.
