Recipes using leftover hotdog/hamburger buns

Yes,I'm aware I can freeze them. However, they go unused as such. I am staring down a bag of frozen buns everytime I open up my freezer. Ultimately, they will be thrown away. How can I use them while still fresh without letting them go to waste once the burgers and hot dogs are gone?
