With the lose of the sword defense (a.k.a "hi" or "peace"), we need some gestures in game, like waving, pointing, or even sitting, who knows...

Just throwing some ideas. We could have a key combination to execute some action, maybe P+number.

Eg:

P+1: raise left arm up, could be used to wave to someone.

P+2: raise right arm up.

P+3: point with left arm.

P+4: point with right arm. If you do P+3 following P+4, you would raise both arms, like a "hug"

P+5: sit. Like we do in minecarts or horses, but now anywhere. That stair that you call a chair would finally work now.

Edit: 9 of every 10 people here stopped reading at the "hi". All I see is people trying to "inform" me that we can do it in other ways... I think you all missed the part where we gain a lot more gestures.
