Tenergy LiFePO4 jump starter arrived today; promptly disassembled. Pics inside.
I mentioned in a thread last week that there appeared to be a good deal on a '13.5Ah' car jump starter battery banks. There was a lot of speculation about the battery configuration, and the consensus was that there is no way there is 13.5Ah@12V+ in there. I bought a couple and they arrived today. After testing, I immediately cracked one open. Curiosity > warranty.
TL;DR: There may be 13.5Ah in there, but the cells are in series, so that's dodgy math.
They are flat 'pouch' cells that I estimate to be 3400mAh @ 3.2V, measuring about 125mm x 38mm x 8.5mm each. Terminal voltage at 75% charge out of the box was 12.85V.
It works as intended. It charged my HP notebook at 19V and my Samsung phone at full current. Tomorrow I may disconnect the battery on my car and see if it will start, just for shits and giggles.

So, no real value in actual capacity, but it seems like it will do the job it was designed for. I think I'll put one in my girlfriend's car to simplify the car jumping process and reclaim the cables for my car. I'll keep the other around the house and use it for miscellaneous things.
