Is either Machinery's Handbook Guide or Pocket Companion worth it?

Does anyone have experience using either of these rather than the massive machinery's handbook? The amount of info the machinery's handbook is incredible, but I feel that I could spend hours looking for a single simple item inside of it.

How basic is the information in either of these sources?
