Just wanted to give a big thank you to this sub!

Hi guys, although ive only posted here regarding installing F.lux on a surface here I just wanted to thank you guys for all of the informative posts, stickys, and FAQS posted here that helped me pull the trigger on my SP3. It arrived today with my type cover and Ive been toying around with it all afternoon since Ive been out of class.

Even though Ive already encountered a bug or two (Damn right click/touch bug!) I'm still very excited to go to class tomorrow and take my notes with OneNote, knowing I no longer have to carry around multiple notebooks and textbooks. Luckily I found a few of my own textbooks online, and I'm looking into ways to digitize the ones I couldn't find digitally.

All in all, just a big thank you to this community for helping me make an informed decision and looking forward to continue to lurk this sub as I get more familiar with my new baby!

My only worry is that the Surface Pro 4 will blow me away, in which case I should still be in my return policy to return it and wait out for the release date if its near.

For those wondering, I'm pursuing a Bachelors of Commerce with a major in Human Resources and I'm in my first year. Ended up purchasing a SP3 i3, Type Cover, MS Complete, 4 years of Office for $79 all through the MS Store, and an extra SD card to hold any extras I might accumulate along the way!
