23/M Should I give up on finding a girlfriend?
I have only had one girlfriend who I found out cheated on me after I broke up with her and I did also have a FWB thing with a girl 3 years ago. I do not consider myself to be a bad looking dude and I do have confidence in myself. I do go out sometimes when I get the chance. I love to play guitar and video games and I even got my first tattoo this year. I started a new job that I am enjoying and feel good about. I am not desperate, ever since I broke up with my ex I have taken a lot of time to myself and stayed out of dating but have tried to put myself out there from time to time. Before I had any sort of relationship with a girl whether it be FWB or GF I have tried to talk to girls and I have faced rejection and when I think I might get to know someone a stroke of bad luck comes along and ruins any chances I may have had what ever they may have been. I have tried using online dating including Tinder with no luck. I know rejection and bad luck part of the dating game but when you face in almost every occasion what's the point of even putting yourself out when your not even given a chance to prove yourself?
