[For Glory] How to handle Link as King Dedede?

I main Dedede, and hold about an 80% win rate over hundreds of games. My toughest match-ups by far are projectile spammers like Link, Samus, and Toon Link.

I just faced a Link player who did nothing but run and spam projectiles. A few notes:

• My projectile is near useless, as it almost never makes it through Link's projectiles
• My only option for recovery is to grab ledge, since landing an up B is easily punishable
• Despite perfect shielding many projectiles, naturally I won't get them all
• Tried to get tricky, making use of Link's boomerang to have my character perform a sliding side smash, however I found my smash charge to be interrupted by Link's arrows

Best strategy I have is to perfect shield as often as possible while inching closer to him over 10-20 seconds. Eventually he's backed to the edge, where you can win close-range combat.

Seeking tips on how to better handle situations like this. I can post the replay to YouTube if anyone's willing to get that detailed.

Edit: Can someone explain why I'm being downvoted? I don't see any subreddit rules I'm breaking, and I'm constructively seeking feedback instead of resorting to dramatic ranting. I'm a little confused.
