Need help on 2015 Jetta purchase
Hi, I'm purchasing my first car and would like some tips and knowledge on what to do when arriving at the dealership. (Located in Toronto, Canada) so far I have been emailing and calling my local volkswagen dealerships and have inquired about their 0% apr financing. The first offer I got was $291 a month for 84 months with 0% apr, totaling the sum of the car to $24,444.
This is for the 2.0 L jetta treadline plus 6.0 speed automatic with 0 down.
My questions are:
- Am I paying more than what I should be?
- When I arrive at the dealership what should I expect and what are some extra charges that the dealership might put on me?
- Since its my first time buying a car what are some things I need to look out for when purchasing a car in regards to the car itself as well as the dealership?
- Is it to much if I negotiate the price to $150-170 a month for 84 months with 0 down and 0% apr?
I plan on getting the car this week! Thank you in advance!
Edit: it is currently 1AM and I am now heading to bed, will check back in the morning.
