Theory: Valve intentionally creates drama before a patch
Each single time (you can check by yourself, google is your friend), Valve have deliberately waited until the community was on verge of rioting (remember when 1.25 hit on war3? how much time did we have to wait for a new patch? 1 year?), so they release a patch.
dota 1, diretide, all previous patches, etc.
Why on earth wouldn't they be able to release the patch let's say 10 days before? why wait until the community is literally flaming them to release a patch? (this time the community was really patient, but they actually created these bugs to make us rage on other websites).
1 word, advertisement, yes they are utilizing us with each patch to generate advertisement on websites like IGN with headlines like "Dota community goes and reduces dota's metacritic rating into 1", etc.
And later on "Holy Valve addresses the community and release a patch containing everything they ever wanted" (although not mentioning that half of that doesn't work, hero mmr anyone?).
Honestly Valve this is getting boring, just give us the patch and fix your fucking bugs already we don't give a fuck about your advertisements, stop utilizing us.
