Desperately need some help, had every symptom of HSV all falling into the correct time frame after exposure...but no breakout occurred? [Stressed and cannot go through daily routine] Does the following count as a small breakout or not??

Okay so 2 months ago I received unprotected oral and french kissed a girl with HSV (she did not tell me which type). She had no visible symptoms. Pretty much right after my penis got incredibly irritated than calmed down a bit but a few days after that it become constant. My penis was irritated, itchy and occasionally burning for like a week 1/2 - 2 weeks (I was tired and had pain in my legs in lower back every now and than but no other flu like symptoms), around my mouth/lips I had random burning/tingling that would persist for hours or so a day. The mouth stuff has completely stopped but my penis became irritated again around 2 weeks after it stopped. This time it was itchy with large amounts of smegma appearing under the foreskin (I thought it was discharge but the doctor confirmed it be smegma.) this stopped after a week and I have since been fine. I never got a lesion/sore or anything like that. That first week I got the symptoms I became extremely stressed and focused incredibly on these two areas. However, I'm 100% sure I did not make up the sensations in my head, they were indeed there. I still have to wait a little longer until I can get a garunteed test for HSV, I just received the regular test for STI/STD's. Can anyone please let me know their thoughts/opinions/experiences? Does it sound like I contracted HSV? Any feedback at all please!
