Please take any feedback from rpg.net with a grain of salt. It's a repressive echo-chamber of hyper-sensitive SJWs that bans anyone they think disagrees with them. Because of that, they are not representative of the entire RPG community.

Oh, and don't apologize. They're like sharks. If they smell blood, they will tear you to shreds.

There's one person on RPG.net who is bitching about you using the word "exotic". His user title is "Social Justice Henchmen". That should be a clue it's not something an average person will have a hissy fit over.

Mind you, I think Cthulhutech had enough squick to weird out people outside of RPG.net. It had some serious "won't you enter my magical realm?" bits. But don't go to the other end of the horseshoe.
