South Park will weight in on Caitlyn Jenner tomorrow
I'm gonna go ahead and assume that most of you don't like or care about South Park. But admittedly, I am a semi-fan. There things I like about it, and things I object to. But I'm curious to see how the first episode of the new season (airing tomorrow) will address the issues of trans-madness. I don't think that the creators of SP are in touch with feminist concerns much at all. But still, I often think back to those old episodes where Garrison became a trans-woman and was satirically appropriating womanhood. Not to mention the more recent SP episode "cissy" which critiqued trans/cis public restroom issues. The fact that the thumbnail of this episode is of Cartman undergoing surgery suggests that the creators with be taking a critical angle on Caitlyn/Bruce Jenner specifically. Anyway, y'all probably don't care but I'm curious to see what bs they call on trans politics, if any.
