Consequences of asking to renegotiate my non-compete upon resignation in Florida.

My situation: Three weeks ago I started a job I am not currently happy at. It is an at-will employment agreement. I would like to resign before they become too deeply invested in me so I can begin looking for a job that suits me better and will eventually benefit them in the long-run. However, I signed a 1-year non-compete covenant that I would like to get waived by my employer so I can continue my job search.

What can I do to go about this? It's my first paid job out of college in my field, I haven't had any extensive training on anything I didn't already know coming in, and I've only made extremely brief contact via email with one of their many clients. My employer is kind, and I hate to do this to them, but better now than later. I know nobody will touch me due to article A in this covenant unless I get it repealed.

10. Non-Compete Covenant

During the term of this Agreement and for one (1) year after the termination of this Agreement, the following terms apply:
A. Employee will not directly or indirectly act as an employee, agent, shareholder, owner, or in any other capacity for any other advertising agency, media buying service, Production Company, or other company in a similar industry in [My Town] or [Four Counties].
B. Employee will not directly or indirectly solicit business from, or attempt to provide the same or similar products or services as are provided to any customer or client of Employer.
C. Employee will not directly or indirectly solicit business from, or attempt to provide the same or similar products or services as are provided to any customer or client of Employer.

14. Injunction

Employee agrees that if he or she violates the terms of paragraphs 10, 11, 12, and 13 of this Agreement irreparable harm will occur to Employer and money damages will be insufficient to compensate Employer. Therefore, Employer will be entitled to seek injunctive relief, i.e. a court order that requires Employee to comply with this Agreement, to enforce the terms of this Agreement.
