The power of belief.

Had a customer come in complaining that the laptop she bought last week wasn't working and we didn't they paid for.

She's stating that the icons are too small and she can't connect to their router because the wireless doesn't work on the pc. Mind you this all the "diagnosis" her internet provider told her. Took 5 sec to connect to store wifi. Worked fine.

At this point it's taking me 10 min to try and get word in between her rambling of how we sold her a bad laptop and charged her for services we didn't perform. Finally I manage to get the receipt and the oms order form she had. Guess what? She never paid for a setup at all. She said didn't want it.

At this point the tech that sold the laptop and service comes in. She starts into him right away. Turns out all she wanted was the pc and the virus shield. She didn't want to get square trade or setup.

I guess the point of my ranting is how do people talk themselves into believing something that's not true. We offered everything you would with a total support setup. She didn't want it yet she thinks we are going get it ready for her for free. Sorry lady but if you wanted it setup you should of paid for it when we offered it to you.
