Invisible folder

When I tried making an invisible folder by taking a screenshot then deleting the image and copying the grey space and using it as the folder image (if you don't understand what I'm trying to explain here's the tutorial i followed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d7JWDNzA8c) the folder became unopenable unless it has a name under it then I would have to click the name. Is there a way to make an invisible folder without having to go into terminal every time I want to open it?
