The season finale...fantastic or flop?

After just watching the season finale, I'm left with mixed emotions. The episode had me laughing the least out of all the previous ones, but it had probably the most amount of story development. It left me yearning for season two, but I'm not sure if it particularly left off on a good note. What do you think?
