Newbie wanting to get into the world of Power Rangers. Any advice?

Hi! I came into this subreddit asking for some help.

I'm a big fan of DC and Marvel Comics and all their stuff, but recently I've decided to take a break from all of that, as it's been exhausting to complain about their current initiatives (being the New 52 and the All-New Marvel). I'm looking for new worlds to venture out to, and with the wealth of games, books, TV shows that my friends suggested I could get into, Power Rangers was one of them.

Power Rangers was always this big thing that existed ever since it was made, kind of a multi-generational thing. I used to watch some when I was younger, namely (hope I get these right) Wild Force and Thunder Storm and they were fun at the time. Now, I'm more into the idea of absorbing the canon and mythos as a whole but not sure where to start.

As a kid though, I've always found the shows' dialogue very cheesy and the tone campy. Was/is that always the intention of the series? Can anyone shed some light on this?

I've always seen people give high praise to Power Rangers, so setting all the cringey dialogue aside, I figured now could be a great time to jump in on its universe. Can anyone give me some advice on how to jump in the most seamless way possible? Preferably anything to read or to watch that's easy to find.

Can any Power Rangers veterans who've stuck around help me out? Thank you so much.
