Testing Center online exams

Can anyone tell me the process to get registered for the online exams in the testing center? I have to take my midterm and final for MIS 3300. What is your personal experience with taking exams in the testing center? The professor has given us a one day window to take the exam at our own time. Any tips on a good time?
