Not a frequent flyer here, but I'm just struggling dealing job searching and living at home.
I've known I've had depression going on for a couple years now when I was part way through college going to see people for help. I graduated in May from a college and got my degree (graphic design) so I can get a nice job and work.
I have been searching for a job, and searching, and searching, with nothing coming up. Everyday I wake up just hoping to get that one e-mail or phone call that can change me, but it doesn't happen. I've been forced to live with my folks because I can't afford to live on my own, feeling more like a failure everyday that passes. At one point in the last month, I got so discouraged that I snapped at my mother twice in one day, yelled at by my father, and went on a 45 min cry fest.
Welp, it is now September, I had to resort to finding a job at a sub shop. It's not like I'm asking for a lot. I don't want to feel like I wasted 5 years of my life at college for a piece of paper that won't do me any good at a different job. I don't have friend at home, home has been depressing just cause I feel like I'm not doing something, I get asked all the time if i've found any jobs yet which makes me feel like a failure every time... All I'm doing is trying to do my best to just be happy and I can't even do that.
Idk, maybe I'm just ranting, but I'm tired all the time and I can't sleep and I just want simple things in life. A job and someone to spend time with, that's it.
