How Does Intel Quicksync Run On Skylake's IGP?

If you look at past reviews of Quicksync, most people say that while it helps with framerates by offloading work onto the IGP and can boost in game framerates while recording, the IGP can't really keep up with high quality encoding.

All of the Quicksync review videos seem to use Haswell or older. Considering that Skylake has a substantially stronger IGP than Haswell, is it powerful enough to encode quality video in real time at 1080P 60 fps?(or even 30 fps)? Has anyone done any benchmarks on this?

If there aren't any benchmarks already, I might make one if anyone here is interested.
