File server and media server combined build help

I have got my hands on 4 2TB HDD and looking to put together something to hold my wife and I's music, movies, and pictures. I would like to be able to either stream the movies directly or be able to download them to my computer and watch on tv from there. (Quick side not on that) I don't think my tv or other av equipment are new enough to have the capability to stream so currently I got a hdmi cable from computer to the tv and it works for me.... Ok back to what I want out of this. I would like to be able to stream music to speakers like this. I would like to store photos on the drives. And lastly I would like to set the drives in raid1 as I have once already in my life lost all photos for a 3 year period because I didn't have a proper back up drive.

I tried to figure this out on my own but I just don't know. I tried to mix in the match the various tutorials and posts into what I am looking for but I just can't make sense of it.

Is it possible? Can I do a media server and use something like RuneAudio as I for whatever reason like the look of it. If I do use Rune am I right in thinking that I could use the jamcast app to stream music?

Thanks!
