Heating

As a last ditch effort before I do valve seals, I added some stop leak to my oil, brought the engine to temp then added it into the valve cover, its real goopy. Supposed to help with my oil burning and smoking, and after I added it I got in and my jeep was at like 225ish. Usually it runs at 190-200f and I was like wtf, maybe because it was idling with no airflow for like 10mins I don't know, but I drove down a hill to get some airflow going and it only went down like 5 degrees so I shut it off. Didn't have a problem on the ride home, but is this just a coincidence? I just checked my coolant and its fine..
