Help with gpm

I like the separated window for Google play music on chrome. So I can close the browser and keep listening. However since I upgraded to Windows 10 as soon as you close the play window the play music window goes all white. Yet you can still click things like the thumbs up/down next track. If you know where they are. I found a quick fix by uninstalling, then reinstalling but it is annoying doing this every time. Is there any other fixes??
