It has been a month and I have no been paid

Mississippi.

I worked for a place back in early August for two weeks. We got paid weekly there and I received my first check on 08/14 for my first week of work. I had already set up direct deposit but they made me come by and pick up my first check. I asked them if the next one would be DD into my account and they said yea. I was supposed to receive my next pay check of 28.5 hours of work at $10 an hour (estimate around $235 after taxes) on the 21st of August. I didn't receive it so the first of September I went into the office and asked about it. They said they had mailed it and I should receive it on the 3rd. It's been over 10 days since I was supposed to receive it in the mail (almost a month later from my actual payment date) and I have yet to receive my check.

I know it's not an insane amount of money, but having just moved to another state (TX) and I have bills to pay I could REALLY use that money pronto. I'm going to call them bright and early tomorrow and ask questions but I want to know what my options are.
