[Theory] [Books] Nuclear Winter is coming.

After watching Preston Jacobs video series the minds of wolves and robins, Wich theorises that planetos has lived through a nuclear war, i was not entierly convinced. After recently rereading a world og ice and fire however i found some things that totalt convinced me that this theory is correct. In the Sothoryos portion of the book we are told about nymerias visit to the abandoned city og Yeen. Though the city has remained desolate for thousands of years the surounding jungle has scarce touches it. This leads me to belive that Yeen is the sight of a nuclear blast. What really convinced me tough, is the description of the Brindled Men of Sothoryos. They are described as massively muscled, big-boned creatures with long arms, sloped foreheads, huge square teeth, heavy jaws, coarse black hair, flat noses that suggest snouts, and thick skins brindled in patterns of brown and white, making them seem more hoglike than human. This sounds to me like genetic mutations resulting from long nuclear exposure. There's also the fact that people not born on Sothoryos seems to get sick when they stay there to long. The butterfly fever that outsiders get when staying to long on the Island og naath also resembles Acute radiation syndrome. Since Naath is located just of the coast of Sothoryos it would still feel the effects og nuclear fallout. How the naathi are immune to the effects i don't know. Maybe they're butterflies really are magical. A nuclear blast could also create a tidal wave, wich would explain how the arm of dorne became the stepstones.
