Deshi Basara: A RWBY fanfic that isn't as sophisticated as the title sounds. [Warning: Violence, Mediocre Writing, and Baneposting]

FAN FICTION

During the afternoon in an isolated location outside Vale, a couple of soldiers of the luxurious Atlas Special Military Forces are carting over three masked men whose hands are tied up behind their backs who work for the White Fang with an undercover soldier driving. One man in the car doesn't belong with these two opposing groups, and it's a doctor who shaking from both the fear of his future and the bumpy dirt road.

As the soldiers drive the men down the road, the doctor spots a jet that is no doubt planning to drag him to Atlas. Coming closer to the aircraft, he also sees a man in uniform standing outside waiting for the vehicle. There is no doubt in his mind who that is, and he knows this doesn't brighten his future one bit.

As the car pulls up, the soldiers step out of the car and orders the others to do the same. The doctor gets out of the car along with the White Fang members, which he slowly moves away from the terrorists as the man waiting for them calls over to him.

"Dr. Pines, I'm General Ironwood." he tells him matter-of-factly, his thumbs being stuffed inside his pants... for some reason.

As the doctor nods along nervously, Ironwood picks up a briefcase and hands it over to the driver. After giving him the briefcase, he looks over at the masked men. "What about them?" he questioned the soldier, his voice stern.

"The doctor... he wasn't alone." the soldier told the General. Ironwood looks back at the men before glaring at the Dr. Pines, sending shivers down his spine.

"You don't get to bring friends doctor." he tells Dr. Pines, but the soldier butts in before the doctor could respond which he was thankful for.

"Trust me, you should have them go with you." he tells the General, which causes him to turn his attention towards the soldier.

"Oh really? And why should I?" he asked, his curiosity peaking about the men in front of him.

"They aren't normal grunts for the White Fang." the soldier tells Ironwood, looking down to hide his smile. "They work for one of the Lieutenants, the masked man." Upon hearing this info, Ironwood eyes widen in surprise.

"Banesaw..?" he mutters out, to which the soldier confirms by nodding. Looking over to his troops, he points at them then at the captured men. "Get them on board - I'll call it in on the way there." he orders them. After saluting, the troops move the men inside the jet. The doctor follows them as General Ironwood is the last to get in. As the doors close, the driver gets into his car and drives off back into Vale.

As the plane flies over the Grimm-infested wilderness, the soldiers push the captured White Fang members to their knees in the middle of the plane. Though they can't see it, General Ironwood is standing over them while Dr. Pines is sitting in a seat in front of all of them. Suddenly, Ironwood quickly grabs one of them and slams them on the metal ground.

"What are you doing in the middle of my operation?" he questions the fallen terrorist. The plane is almost silent with things moving from the turbulence being the only noises to fill the jet. The General sighs as he waves a soldier to hand them one of their guns. Soon, one of them tosses their pistol to their commander. As he presses the chamber against his skull, Ironwood speaks again. "The flight plan I just filed with the government lists me, my men, and Dr. Pines here. But only one of you."

The General then moves to the cargo door, opening it up. As the wind howls like rabid wolves, he drags the downed man's head outside the door. "First one to talk stays on my aircraft!" he shouts at them before cocking the gun and aiming it at his head again. "Now... Who paid your goons to capture Dr. Pines up there?!" he shouts once again, demanding an answer. After several seconds of nothing, Ironwood moves the gun and shoots randomly outside the plane. As he shot, one of the soldiers quickly grabs the man and chokes him out. After giving Ironwood the signal that he is unconscious, he speaks again to the remaining two.

"He didn't fly so good! So, who wants to try next?!" he barks out, his patience being tested by these masked men. As the soldiers drag the second guy to the door and hangs his head out, Ironwood interrogates him. "Tell me about Banesaw! Why does he wear the mask?!"

Once again, the General was met with silence. Grinding his teeth, he cocks the gun and presses it under the man's chin. Once again, despite being one trigger pull away from death, the man doesn't speak. "A lot of loyalty among savage animals, huh?!" he shouts at him, pressing the chamber harder into him. Suddenly, the remaining captive speaks up.

"Perhaps he's wondering why you would shoot a man before throwing him off a plane. I know I am." the third masked man says to the General, who moves the man out of the door's way before he closes it.

"So, you're a wiseguy?" Ironwood asked before chuckling, "At least you can talk. Tell me who you are." he orders.

"Why, we are nothing sir. Nothing more than savage animals, less than the dirt that's under your feet." he responds cryptically, as Ironwood walks over to him. As he grabs the hood to pull it off, he speaks again. "Nobody cared who I was until I put on the mask..."

If that sentence wasn't either confirmation on who he was dealing with the tribal-painted mask and the cold, dead eyes behind it sure did. "So, this is Banesaw." the General thinks to himself as he speaks up one more time. "Who we are... it does not matter. What does matter is our plan."

"If I pull off this mask... what will happen?" he questions as he scans Banesaw, ignoring what he said as more turbulence hits the plane, this one more violent than the last.

"It would be extremely painful." he answers truthfully.

"You're a big guy." Ironwood tells the masked man.

"For you." he replies immediately.

"So... what getting captured by the Atlas military honestly part of this 'plan'?" General Ironwood questions, not believing in the existence of said plan. Banesaw smiles behind his mask as he answers.

"Of course."

As the plane starts to fly over a mountain range a larger plane flies in behind, catching them quickly as it sours at an higher altitude.

"You see... Dr. Pines refuses the offer the White Fang gave him, so we needed to know if he told you anything about us. Safety precaution." Banesaw tells the General, still sitting down on his knees in front of him.

"N-nothing! I-I-I said nothing!" he shouts at him, peeking from behind the seat he is sitting in. Scanning the plane behind Ironwood, he spots the doctor and glares at him. "Found you." he thinks to himself.

At this point, the larger plane is already on top of the jet. As it moves slightly in front of it as well, the cargo door in the back of the plane starts opening up.

Turbulence once again shakes the plane to its core, rocking hard enough to cause the soldiers to ready their weapons. As the pilots try to figure out how to fix it, Ironwood speaks.

"Well, congratulations Banesaw, you got yourself caught. So, what's the next step of this master plan of yours?" he asks, mocking the larger man. Looking back into the General's eyes, Banesaw tells him the next step.

"Crashing this plane."

Suddenly, White Fang soldiers jump out of the plane in his uniforms with sub-machine guns attach to them. Quickly, they descend on the flying jet, surrounding it on both sides.

"What did yo-" Ironwood asked before the sounds of gunfire filled the air. Suddenly, his troops started dropping like flies from the shooters outside the plane. While the firefight begins, Banesaw stands up and breaks his cuffs and grabs the General's uniform and starts punching his face in. The White Fang members goes from window to window, shooting any soldiers they can hit. Soon, all of Ironwood's Special Forces are either too wounded to stand or dead.

Outside the plane, half of the White Fang start hooking up the jet to large cables connected to the plane above them. As the magnet sticks to the metal, a claw shoots through the metal and grips the inside walls of the plane. As they are doing that, the other half starts planting C4 charges on certain parts of the plane.

As Bane continues clobbering the weaker Ironwood, the plane starts dipping downwards. Above them, the cargo plane speeds up, causing the plane's wings to be tore off and the rest of it to be forcefully dragged thanks to the cables. As the pilots start calling mayday and the doctor grabs on to the seats, the plane fully tips. Banesaw grabs onto a row of seats as Ironwood and what is left of his men slam hard onto the metal door of the plane that is now being used as the ground.

Some of the White Fang soldiers starts to descend down to the front of the plane to move from the explosives while others jumped away from the plane. Both of them are safe as the C4 explodes, creating a huge hole in the plane as the tail-end is now completely gone. Slowly, Banesaw jumps down to his target, using his hands and feet against the seats to slow his descent. As the one remaining soldier for the Atlas army tries to find his pistol, he realizes he handed it to Ironwood earlier. Shortly after the realization, White Fang members enter the plane, one aiming his SMG at him and gunning him down. Coming with them into the plane are two bodybags: one empty and one seemingly full.

Unzipping the filled bag, a man lays seemingly dead inside it so he can't feel what happens next most likely. As some of the soldiers pick up Ironwood and places his knocked-out body into the empty bodybag, one grabs the doctor and carries him to Banesaw. Quickly, Banesaw pulls the doctor' into a wrestling arm-bar as one of the White Fang pulls out tubes already sticking inside the man's veins. As soon as he realizes what's happening, Dr. Pines screams in terror.

No matter how much he screamed though, it wouldn't help him as the soldier quickly finds his vein in his arm and sticks the butterfly IV in him. As soon as he does, his blood starts being drained from his and into the dead body, whose is currently receiving CPR from a soldier.

As everyone starts strapping in, with the doctor being held by Banesaw, he sees one of the men who entered with him try to get a strap on. "No!" he shouts at him, grabbing tightly on his shoulder as the deer faunus looks up at him tensely. "They expect one of us in the wreckage my brother... you know what needs to be done." he tells him, gently squeezing his grip as the man realizes this is now his fate. Smiling faintly, he accepts it as he removes the strap from around him. Before letting go of it, he looks at Banesaw again and asks a question.

"Have we started the fire?"

Nodding to him and letting go, Banesaw answers.

"Yes, the fire rises."

As he grabs the man's line, he straps that line to the doctor who is still screaming. As they remove the body from the bag and drop it in the plane, the White Fang members start to repel back up into the cargo plane. Looking at the screaming Dr. Pines, Banesaw shakes his head. "Calm down doctor, now isn't the time for fear." he tells Dr. Pines, who turns to look at him. Staring into those cold, dead eyes once again Banesaw finishes his statement. "That comes later."

After pressing a button, the plane drops with the rest of the wreckage in the mountains along with the man as the cargo plane flies away from the scene. As he continues his screaming, Dr. Pines realizes that he is no different than that man who just died. Because, like that man, Banesaw has sealed his fate.
