Cardio before lifting doesn't make me that tired for lifting...?

I do a 5-min walk, a 10-min jog, and a series of 6 HIIT sprints before my lifting workout, which I do immediately after. I tend to have to put the boring stuff out of the way first before I lift my weights without the pressure that I'll have to do cardio after. It sets me free mentally.

I'm aware of the general consensus that states that, physiologically, it makes more sense to do cardio after lifting. It seems the reasoning behind this is chemical stuff happening in our bodies and fatigue.

However, I feel that the fatigue I feel after cardio is different from the fatigue I get from lifting. The former is about catching my breath after the exercise, whereas the latter is more about my muscles not being able to lift to their capacity no mo'. It feels like a different type of tiredness, is what I'm saying.

So... I feel that cardio fatigue doesn't really make me tired for lifting at all (and it's usually over after a few recovery minutes). And I've done this workout sequence for about a year (I think almost exactly a year) to great results, so I know that it doesn't matter that much.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I actually tired from cardio and don't really notice it?
