Dota 2 crashing steam on startup and then hanging.

Is anyone else having this problem? I skimmed through r/dota2 but nobody else seems to be having this problem. Ive been able to play fine the past couple days, dont know if its assosiated with this patch.

Go to load game up and steam will crash in the background, and the game will hang. Tried both 32 and 64 bit versions same affect, except the 32 bit had the kindness to crash itself instead of hang for eternity.

Anyone else heard about this or having this happen?
