I decided to message one of my few atheist friends from high school

Me: Hey there. I know we haven't talked in years, but you crossed my mind, and it prompted this message. I want to apologize for some of the conversations we had back in high school, specifically the ones where I attempted (pretty badly) to convert you to Christianity. Since that time, I myself have become an atheist as well and have experienced the other side of the conversation. So I hope I wasn't too bull-headed or asinine when I talked about such things with you. And if I was, just know that that doofus no longer exists.
