One News.. riddled with homosexuals?

Throwaway because... I don't want to get downvoted for a controversial speculation on my main.

I was smoking the good stuff and watching One News tonight and quite a few of the male reporters stereotypically sounded and looked homosexual.

I remember hearing from a mate a few years ago that it's impossible to get a top level job at one news unless you are homosexual with the odd exception.

Has anyone else came to this conclusion? Does anyone know the validaty of these claims?

(BTW I'm not bigoted or anything even though it may sound that way. Forgive my thoughts but reddit is a bastion of free speech.)
