Salvaging DMT from steel wool?

Hi

I made a machine to "smoke" some DMT I extracted a long time ago, but it it away for years. Recently I took it out and accidentally dropped it. So now I'm left with this old steel wool that I believe still contains some DMT melted onto it. I'll probably be making a new machine in the near future, but in the meantime, how can I seperate the DMT from the steel wool?
