How did you get your first business off the ground?

I have a pretty strong business idea, I have been talking to people at work about (as potential sales), one of my coworkers has a connection with the horn of africa and its small markets. It has a pretty high profit margin, is a niche market and the customers will always return. I have everything I need to start production but I don't have a way of processing orders, no online marketplace, no store. I only have a means of producing at the moment. So what do I do next? I really want to open a storefront and produce there as well so I can get the junk out of my place but that is my plan for the next year, I really want a website but I don't know how to develop one, and most importantly, what about taxes?
