I [19F] have had a visit to the ER and a few visits to urgent care within the year. I'm trying to find out if I owe any money and I can't check my credit score and I've never had a credit card.

Planning

I am a 19 year old female and have gone to the ER and a few visits to urgent care within the year. I was in the ER for an hour and my bill was around $3k and insurance only paid $400 of it. For urgent care, the total bill was about $300.

My father is the administrator of our health insurance (there are 7 total people) my dad has numerous amounts of medical bills himself.

Each time I sought out medical attention I billed it to my father. Sometimes they would send me a bill but both my address and my fathers address are listed.

I don't know if he's paid any of it and he won't let me know if he has or will and I'm afraid it just got lost in the shuffle of his and his kids own issues. I tried checking my credit score but I have never opened a credit card so it's not showing up for me.

No debt collectors have been calling me, then again I haven't had a cell phone since March. I haven't received any mail, yet my mother receives all the mail and hasn't notified me if I've gotten anything.

I'm curious if I owe any money because I would like to get it out of the way if I do, or if I'm just paranoid entering adulthood not owning any debt because almost everyone else does. I was wondering how I could go about finding this out without having to pay something I don't have to. Thanks
