So why the hell can't you do FOB missions with friends?

To me, that eliminates the entire purpose. Invading strangers simply isn't the same as invading your friends. See: When I play with friends, they don't come in geared up with battle dress and rocket launcher.

Some may argue that it's to prevent boosting, but if that were the case, why not add a mode where you can just invade bases without gaining GMP, soldiers, or resources? I'm thoroughly disappointed with this multiplayer mode. There isn't even a way to support people on your friends list, what the fuck?

I hope MGO3 is better than what I've played of these hilariously pointless FOB missions.
