November, Columbus Nova, November...

I'm a bit frustrated tonight, so the part of me that is upset with this game is going to get a say. We can go back and forth on "it's alpha" "change is coming" so on and so forth. I have supported this game and defended this game. I have complained and given insight and ideas. I'm tired of it. We hear devs talking about how they would like lower ammo servers and bow only servers ect..ect.. but they can't deliver. We lost survival. How hard is it to do turn ammo and weapon spawns down on a few of these low pop empty servers? Really?

Been hearing that "survival is not dead", well, prove it by November by doing literally the least possible advancement in survival by turning the knobs, give us different rulesets, another empty and forgotten promise.

I'm just tired of the community back and forth on this survival vs br crap. The kick in the nuts every time we ask for what we where pitched. I'm just done. BR is fun, yeah but you know what, If this team doesn't deliver a symbol of a future for survival, I'm likely out the door like so many others, and I would also ask that we show Columbus Nova how we feel and boycot this game at that point, just short of a year after e/a release. To, if anything, show them that we can impact their pocket book if they care so much about the bottom line as to shit on us who supported this game in the first place, for what it was supposed to be, zombie survival. Enough of us play something else for a few days and the steam charts won't lie, after this invitational, we deserve our god damn game. You made your push with the streamers now what? Make the damn game you promised us, or at least make it look like you are actually trying instead of feeding us this "We have to re-do everything" "It's so hard" shit.

I would absolutely hate to see this kind of development become a trend. Where investment firms jump in and completely rape a vision for a dollar. Regardless of truth, perception is reality and we perceive that this BR invitational and allowing hackers to continue to ruin the game so they can buy multiple accounts is a money grab. Columbus Nova does not care about anything other than money, that is what they do, make money. I'm sure the devs want to make us a great game and it sucks they are caught in the middle but enough is enough. It's time to put up or shut up. A year of empty promises and set backs is not e/a, its a travesty and an insult to gamers, we put our faith in your vision of the Walking Dead style game. Not this sub-par hack fest with literally only hunger as a survival threat, and to be honest, if you die of hunger in this game, damn.. just sad.

Fellow fanboys, now is your time to stab me to death, for the watch of course. I have betrayed you.

Edit 2 11/30/15: I have changed my mind about changing my mind. Thanks daybreak for giving me hope that you would indeed be making Oct/Nov a HUGE month for survival. Just when I throw in the towel and support you guys in your obvious re-branding toward BR you feed me some more false hope and I ate that shit up. And now, here we are at 11/30 and no fucking changes. Thanks. Keep pulling me in and shitting on me.
