Another thought.
How do you guys feel about this: In the video games you can't catch a wild charazard (I'm coming from the perspective that charazard is a 3rd stage evolution and not a starter). You can't catch a wild dragonite. You can't catch a wild alakazam. You never see these Pokemon in the wild while walking around. BUT in the movies/tv show. You may see these Pokemon in the background or in the forefront of the scene. Which means if you (or ash) wanted to you could walk over, battle it and try to catch it. So here's why my question comes in: Would you rather see Pokemon Go follow the videos game in the sense that you CANT catch a wild charazard and never see one in the wild or the anime, where you CAN see and catch wild, higher level Pokemon.
Personally I'd love to see Pokemon Go follow more the anime style because it would seem more realistic to see a charazard (or later evolution/rare Pokemon in general) in the wild and be like "oh crap, a charazard. This is extremely rare. What should I do? Do I want to try to catch it? Do I want the exp?" Just that 'in the moment' excitement and adrenaline Pokemon usually brings.
What do you guys think?
