Admission...Acceptance

I'm your average person...kinda.

I'm 21 years old from a small southern town and like most teenagers and young adults my age I am lost...

I'm lost in a vast field of shit called "fitting in" and I have tried many of times to do just that. I went to college (only tech but college is college right?) I dropped out for a variety of personal reasons and since then I have work 8 different shit tastic jobs in a variety of fields where I did not "fit in". I was different I wanted to be an artist of film or music, or a protector of society in forms of a cop because those careers would help me "fit in" with what people wanted from me. a box for me to slide into and just become other toy for everyone to like only to throw away a year later... I have not felt a sense of pride, happiness, or acceptance with myself since after high school. 3 years of wondering what I was doing, was what I was doing right for me, am I happy, should I kill myself but as you can tell I didn't do that last one because I still have at least a solid 50 years left in me.

But tonight I watched a movie called Admission, starring Tina Fey and the awesome loveable Paul Rudd. In this movie of doubt, confusion, hope, and being lost...I was found. This movie touched me in a way deep deep down inside of me that no other film has in a long time and I can't quite figure out why. But it did. There's not much to say about me after the film except I have a sense of calm and I have accepted my admission in changing, being stronger, seeing the little things and being happier with what I am doing, pursuing, and fighting in life.

If you're still reading this thank you, don't ask questions or discuss this with me know I have accepted myself finally as who I am today and I see how I WANT to change.

Hello there, I'm Jacob Coleman. And I finally Love....Me. 😊
