Memory issues

It seems like everyone is so much better at remembering conversations, names, details about this or that. I think that I think too much and my ideation FAR outstrips the capacity of my memory. It's the only explanation I can come up with because I know a ton of shit, and continue to learn a ton of shit. I could ramble for hours about so many things, but I retain a small percentage of new info.

I also know for certain that when people are talking I'm looking for what they're really saying, how it reflects on their cognition, how it fits into my theory of their mind. I digest the data as "does it fit? No? Why not? What else could explain this statement? Does it fit with this? I dunno... hmm maybe I should revise... wait what is she saying now?"
