And yet, another thought.
Pokecenters and pokemarts: will they exist (hopefully and obviously yes) and if yes, how will they work out?
Will the pokemart just be an in game menu you can only access at certain times or places and the pokecenter just an in game menu option that stops you from playing so your Pokemon can 'heal.'
OR
Will you actually have to run from the battle ground to the pokecenter. Will I be in a battle and when it's over, have to run/walk/go to a certain place for it to be the pokecenter and have the effects one? And with a pokemart, will I have to go to a certain area in the real world to buy potions and pokeballs?
I really like the second idea. LIKE A LOT. For example, if I'm at school and have a battle, post-battle I'd rather have to debate wether being late for class (or skipping it [this choice of event is purely for example purposes]) and going to a pokecenter location to heal up my Pokemon or go to class and know my fainted pikachu is probably dying and hates my guts or just click menu -> heal Pokemon -> message appears: you can adventure in T- 30 minutes. I hope that made sense.
I'd rather have to GO to a certain place to use a pokecenter or shop at a mart and I'm sure most of you guys would agree. And I really hope it ends up this way. But there's a small part of me that feels like creators of this game won't see how fun and crucial the poképlaces are just make the pokemart and pokecenter just simple menu options.
Thoughts? Hopes? Concerns?
(Side note: I think it would be cool if a pokecenter was an actual place because chances are there might be another trainer or two there and then you all could become friends and then battle and trade and all that good stuff that comes with Pokemon.
