Can't socket or unsocket items

My hammers and chisels have been useless ever since they forced the swap to the Reborn client. Any word on when they're going to fix this, or more specifically, restore functionality to another basic part of the game they broke?

Kind of poor on Valve's part that they've disabled a lot of items that people spent money on. For a while you couldn't edit effigies either, but luckily that got fixed before they forced us into the new client.
