Possible to have goggles react to fur?
After all my trial and error and much searching online. I have deemed this impossible to do on C4D. Here's what I want to do: Panda with fur character is a pilot that wears goggles. I want the panda to grab his goggles down from his forehead, and have them snap on his eyes. All while interacting with the hair covering his face.
I do not want to have to cut down the hair under the goggles, it creates weird "hair seams" that just don't look good. I just want the hair to more or less part away from the tight goggles. here's a reference pic of my current progress:
(don't mind the weird lighting or anything, my only focus for the past 5 hours has been to get the hair to react properly to the goggles instead of going straight through it)
I have gone through many combinations of hair collider tags, rigid body tags, mograph tags and object wrappers. And no combination has resulted in what I want... It's just mostly resulted in the goggles flying off the head/the hair still going through.
help! because as far as I know what I want is impossible to achieve... relate it to having a character place on a hat, and the hat slightly squishing their hair as they pat it on. How would you do that?!
and here's the current project screen cap with NO TAGS APPLIED that affect the collision of the hair or the glasses:
