First and only warrior arena run and went 12-2. Basically I should never play this class again, right?

... so that it'll always be my best arena class ever on my HearthArena account. Thanks to adwcta and merps for the always educational and entertaining streams, pretty much the only Hearthstone stream I would never tire of watching. Of course watching the streams also taught me to never choose Warrior until today... where I had the choice of Hunter, Priest, and Warrior and I said why the heck not.

Draft went amazingly well and never saw any of the terrible warrior cards. Faced an almost endless gauntlet of paladins which I think actually favored my deck because they could never stay on board due to my weapons and minion synergy. One Paladin game I did lost pretty much because my opening Zombie Chow got 3 hit by his opening Mad Bomber and that allowed him to take the board and stay there. Other loss was to a Warlock at 10-1 where he cleared me out using Hellfire and had more spells through his hero power card advantage to keep me out. With the weapon pressure it was hard for mages to retake the board as well with their minion aoe clears. When the final boss was a Paladin I knew I was a big favorite to take 12 wins.

This deck also made me realize that as long you have a good start, the rest of the curve isn't as important as long you have good weapons/spells to fill up whatever minion curve you lack. The deck has good 2s, but after that the curve is kinda lacking but it didn't matter anyway because the weapons took care of the mid-range. Then you end with a couple of big minions which they have trouble removing because they already spent their spells on all your early-mid pressure. I didn't intend to draft it this way but it just worked too well. Spiteful Smith was definitely MVP for a lot of games. Looking back I would definitely use my weapons a bit more aggressively as in roughly a third of the games I had more weapon charges than I could use. I think I only missed my 2-drops in maybe two or three games which definitely helped in consistency.

Edit: Also wanted to add that having tempo efficient pings with the 2x Cruel Taskmaster and 1x Elven Archer helped a ton on board control. Never really understood Elven Archer is rated so highly on HearthArena, but in this deck it was totally justified.
