If I can't get to sleep in a reasonable amount of time is it healthy to just pull an all nighter?
Just to clarify I am a 19 year old male, I usually go to bed at around 11 to get up for 6 or 7, but usually once or twice a week I have trouble getting to sleep taking me 2 hours or more, it usually takes me an hour to fall asleep normally and I most often get around 7 hours. On Friday I'll go to bed earlier and sleep almost 12 hours then enjoy myself late in the day Saturday.
In this current case it's 1:30 now I tried to sleep but I'm just not tired, is it better for me to keep attempting to sleep and get 4 or 3 hours, or to just stay up all night?
